Packing for a holiday camp does not need to be complicated. A few well-chosen bits make for a happier, comfier day — here is everything your child needs for a brilliant time at a uKids camp.
1. A nut-free packed lunch, snacks and water
All of our camps are strictly nut-free. Pack a filling lunch, a couple of snacks for our morning and afternoon breaks, and a named water bottle. We have water refill stations on site, so they will never go thirsty.
2. Clothes that can get messy
From crazy crafts to colour runs, our days are hands-on. Send your child in comfortable clothes you do not mind getting paint, grass or mud on — and always pack a spare set, just in case.
3. Weather-ready extras
British weather keeps us on our toes. On sunny days, sun cream and a hat are essential. On cooler or wetter days, a waterproof and a warm layer mean we can still make the most of the outdoors.
4. Comfy trainers
We are an active bunch — sport, games and outdoor adventures fill the day. A pair of comfortable, closed-toe trainers is perfect.
5. Label everything
Bottles, jumpers, lunch boxes — if it has a name on it, it finds its way home. A quick label saves a lot of lost-property hunting at pick-up.
And that is it. Book your dates, pack the essentials, and leave the rest to us.
